Sonata Design is a small to medium-sized window fashions company that specializes in window fashions, interior design, home automation, as well as home exterior innovations. While at Sonata Design, I helped identify social media strategies for Instagram, TikTok, in order to develop KPIs that would help structure posting Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and also designed print and digital assets for initiatives like The Orchestra Program and Adaptive Developments.

The Orchestra Program

The Orchestra Program is an initiative designed to help expand and grow partner companies. The program consists of three tiers: older company owners who are looking to retire or sell their business, middle-aged company owners who are not new but are seeking to advance and grow their company, and newcomers who are new to the window fashions industry and are looking to start a business.

The idea behind The Orchestra Program is to assist companies in similar industries in streamlining and digitizing their processes. This aims to achieve greater efficiency in internal and external operations, establish more structured communication channels across departments, and implement faster web tools such as ERPs and CRMs accordingly.

While I was involved in organizing company documentation and identifying critical features in each department to create standard operating procedures, my main role was to develop pitch assets for presentation to partner companies interested in The Orchestra Program (see Fig. 1 & 2).

Social Media Strategies and KPIs

Wallcovering Wisdom by Georgia Perry

Developing a social media strategy was realized through creating posts in bulk and queuing them to post weekly. Myself and the marketing team, ensured a diverse array in content, and posting at times when people were most active on social media.

The strategy behind making posts in bulk was to identify the median for content that people would find most engaging, versus what was less engaging.

engagement was measured through likes, comments, views and shares.

While at Sonata, I successfully helped the company gain an additional 100 Instagram followers, surpassing the 2000-follower milestone

Sonata Wallpaper Guide — This guide serves as both an internal and external resource for understanding wall-coverings and wallpaper, providing information on their varieties and expected characteristics. The Sonata Design Branded guide emphasizes specific wallpaper features, placement recommendations, and long-term behavior. It was developed alongside several other guides using a similar template, each showcasing different products offered by Sonata. The guide includes images sourced from the Sonata portfolio and the websites of brands wallpapers brands that are distributed from Sonata.
